The National Basilica of Koekelberg: a masterpiece of architecture (20th c.) at a stone's throw from the city centre. The fifth biggest church in the world. Wish of King Leopold II, realized under King Albert I. Works of art: a fine collection of marbles, bronzes, stained-glass windows... Continuous exhibition: "The History of the Basilica". Large walking area at a height of 53 m, partially accessible by elevator. Exceptional panorama: "Brussels at your feet". Magnificient view of Doel, Antwerp, Mechelen, Ronquières...

A museum for religious art has recently been opened in the Koekelberg basilica.
About 250 paintings and sculptures from the contemporary art collection of the Bruges diocese are exhibited there.

Opening times of the Panorama: Summer: 9 am - 5.15 (last entrance) pm. Winter: 10 am - 4.15 pm (last entrance). Enter via door 6. Organisation of events and activities.
Every Wednesday, possible to visit the museum space of the Sisters Augustines: 2 pm until 4 pm.
The collection of the Museum for Religious Art can be visited on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm and by appointment for groups.

Visit to the ground floor of the church is free of charge.
